Ferienhotel Bodensee

The first barrier-free hotel in Switzerland, located on the beautiful Untersee in Berlingen. The Ferienhotel Bodensee is an initiative of the Swiss Pro Handicap Foundation. The foundation, based in Berlingen, was founded in 2011 with the aim of providing people with disabilities with beautiful, barrier-free holidays. The hotel in the Swiss canton of Thurgau is serious about equal opportunities for people with and without disabilities and offers both groups the perfect setting for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Guests benefit from a 100% barrier-free and modern infrastructure that offers the greatest possible privacy and autonomy. Everyone is welcome in this open house. Accessibility was taken into account from the very beginning of the planning process. The car park, entrance, reception, breakfast room, restaurant and rooms are barrier-free and the rooms on the floors are accessible without steps by lift. The door width of the lift is 120 cm, with internal dimensions of 240 cm deep and 140 cm wide. This means that you can also fit in comfortably with an electric wheelchair. A rich breakfast buffet awaits you in the morning (included in the room rate). Half-board and full-board guests enjoy meals from the "Tertianum" kitchen.
