Pensiun Aldier

Sent

Description

The PEnsion Aldier is located next to the main square of the beautiful and historically perfectly preserved and quiet village of Sent at 1433 meters above sea level. Built in 1865, the house underwent a complete renovation in 2012 and now shines again in its old glory. It was the conviction of the new owner and art collector family to create a quiet and cozy retreat for mountain lovers and to combine this magical place with their collection of graphic art by Alberto Giacometti, some sculptures by his brother Diego and a photographic documentation of black and white images of studio scenes by Ernst Scheidegger, a long-time friend of Alberto.
"Simply being" means a quiet, decelerated stay in our house. It is also synonymous with harmony, conscious simplicity and tranquillity. They are allowed to feel the moods of the place and indulge in them.
With this in mind: Welcome! In the middle of this enchanting village of Sent in the Lower Engadine is our small hotel, the Pensiun Aldier. On the village square, by the fountain. Elegant, interesting and peculiar with its wooden porches. Being simple stands for an unagitated, decelerated stay in our house. But it also means a certain modesty and tranquillity. harmony and a conscious simplicity.
All 16 rooms (13 double rooms, 2 suites, 1 junior suite) meet modern standards and have a private bathroom (bath or shower), television and free wireless internet. Some have balconies with great views.
