Gästehaus am Sonnenfeld

The apartment is located in the old part of the house and still offers the charm and ambience of the old Thurgau farmhouses with lots of wood, plank stud walls and tiled stove; all lovingly preserved and modernized. On the first floor of approx. 140 m2 you will find a bedroom with a double bed and an extra bed, two bedrooms each with a bunk bed and an extra bed, a modern bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and bathtub as well as a small lounge with board games and a TV. On the ground floor you will find a large room with 5 beds, a toilet with sink and a fully equipped kitchen including a lounge area.

We warmly welcome groups, families, but also individual travelers in our historic farmhouse.
Enjoy a couple of days in the idyllic landscape, relax in the high-quality, comfortable and lovingly furnished guesthouse.
Our house has a spacious apartment with space for up to 12 guests, two apartments for 4–6 guests each and a double room with bathroom.

Purpose and community is our motto.
Our purposeful worldview is Christian, and we try to live in harmony with God, our fellow people, and our natural surroundings, and try to provide the opportunity to harmony and community in the guesthouse as well.
And so all our guests have a beautiful lounge with bar and piano, a terrace with lots of seating and lounging options, a large garden with barbecue area and plenty of space for games, fun and sports. The house also has a sauna, which is very popular in winter.

Sommeri – where Thurgau is the most beautiful.
Sommeri is an idyllic and peaceful small rural village declared as landscape conservation area. There are hiking trails and bicycle lanes and skating routes directly passing the Guesthouse or close to it. The Lake of Constance with its innumerable possibilities for excursions, sports, culture and recreation is within the immediate vicinity. Cozy beaches are within a few kilometers.
