Chalet Stall Schlettere Stall Schlettere is a detached holiday home in Bellwald, originally built as a traditional Valais alpine barn in 1809. Lovingly restored, the chalet combines its authentic alpine character with modern comfort. Set in a peaceful, sunny and secluded location just above the Gommer Höhenweg hiking trail, it offers plenty of privacy and panoramic views across the Rhône Valley and the surrounding Swiss Alps. The holiday home accommodates 1–6 guests and features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cosy living area with its soapstone stove, the well-equipped kitchen, and the sunny terraces and seating areas around the house provide a welcoming setting for spending time together and enjoying a relaxing holiday. In summer, Stall Schlettere is an excellent starting point for hikes along the Gommer Höhenweg, excursions to the Aletsch region and a wide variety of mountain bike rides. Bellwald Bike Park and the challenging Stoneman Glaciara route offer even more opportunities for mountain biking enthusiasts. In winter, guests can enjoy Bellwald's sunny, family-friendly ski area, winter hiking trails and beautiful snow-covered mountain scenery. The Bellwald mountain lifts are approximately a ten-minute walk from the holiday home. Whether you are looking for a summer holiday filled with hiking and mountain biking or a winter escape in the snow, Stall Schlettere is a peaceful retreat for families, couples and nature lovers who appreciate privacy, beautiful surroundings and the comfort of a detached chalet. Facilities and Comfort The chalet offers Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, washing machine, tumble dryer and a convenient boot dryer. The spacious kitchen, with its cosy corner seating area, is a welcoming place to cook and spend time together. A reserved parking space in the covered parking garage is also included. Guests particularly enjoy the sunny outdoor spaces, with several seating areas, terraces and fire pits. These are wonderful places to enjoy a meal outdoors, read a good book or simply unwind while taking in the mountain views. Good to Know In winter, it is not possible to drive directly to the chalet. From the Gommer Höhenweg, a short uphill walk of approximately five minutes leads to Stall Schlettere.
