Ferienhaus Chas'alba

The Chas'alba combines fresh renovated charm with cozy warmth: new hardwood floors, lovingly refreshed rooms and a new bathroom create a pleasant atmosphere. On chilly days, the open fireplace with spark guard and the wood-burning storage heater provide cozy hours by the fire, complemented by electric radiators for added comfort.

The kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook together and enjoy long evenings – with oven, cooktop, fridge without freezer compartment and, if desired, a freezer. For a little indulgence in between, a Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster are available, and a fondue evening can also be wonderfully enjoyed here.

The bedrooms are simply, practically and cozily furnished: one room with a double bed (two single mattresses), one room with a single bed and another with a bunk bed and an additional single bed offer flexible sleeping options for different needs.

Towels and bed linen are provided, as well as a hairdryer in the bathroom with shower and new toilet. The house is a non-smoking house and deliberately kept simple – without Wi-Fi and TV. This digital abstinence creates space for real encounters, peace and nature experiences.

High above Santa Maria in Val Müstair at 1,800 meters above sea level – 400 meters above the valley floor – lies our Chasalba. A place where time slows down and the view over the mountains immediately pushes everyday life into the background. The house offers space for up to 6 people and is accessible by car all year round.

The Chas'alba consists of two house parts. The freshly renovated newer part, whose living room was once a stable, is available to our holiday guests. The centerpiece is the large terrace with spectacular views – a place for morning coffee in the sun, long summer evenings or quiet winter days above the valley.

Here, relaxation, nature and conscious switching off are the focus, not entertainment. No internet, no noise – just space, silence and a real mountain experience.
