The Grand Hotel Belvedere is a timeless Alpine retreat, thoughtfully brought to life across two beautifully restored historic buildings – the iconic Belvedere and the charming Waldrand. The hotel's 90 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, starting from 22 m², offer a harmonious blend of urban sophistication and warm Alpine comfort. Each room is equipped with thoughtful amenities, including an in-room bar, hairdryer, safe, and TV, while many boast spectacular views of the majestic Jungfrau and the dramatic Lauterbrunnen Valley. Whether waking up to snow-capped peaks or unwinding after a day in the mountains, every stay promises an unforgettable experience in one of Switzerland's most inspiring settings.

The wellness and spa area provides a diverse range of treatments to pamper both body and soul. Unwind in one of the saunas or in the indoor and outdoor heated pools, allowing yourself a rejuvenating break. For our treatments, we use natural cosmetics by Susanne Kaufmann, inspired by Alpine wellness traditions and crafted with carefully selected local and natural ingredients.

Our restaurant, Brasserie Belvedere, under the direction of talented Chef Will Gordon, captures the essence of Swiss traditions and elevates them with contemporary touches, presenting refined modern classics of the Grand Hotel Belvedere, crafted with seasonal and regional Alpine ingredients.

The hotel Belvedere occupies the best location in Wengen with an incomparable view over the Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Wengen itself is a charming, car-free alpine village offering direct access to the heart of the Jungfrau region, known for its breathtaking mountain scenery, hiking trails, ski slopes, and iconic excursions such as Jungfraujoch, Männlichen, and Schilthorn. It only takes a 5-minute walk to the village centre, the Männlichen cable car, and the train station. Within a 5-minute walk you also reach the sports grounds, including tennis courts, the ice rink, the ski school office and meeting point, as well as the beginners’ slope.

The hotel provides electric hotel cars for the convenience of our guests, offering transfers from and to the train station in Wengen, as well as transportation within the village on request.
