The Salvation Army Waldegg Holiday Centre is located above Rickenbach (BL, Switzerland), around 1 km from the village centre, in a peaceful setting with beautiful views. Surrounded by nature, Waldegg is an ideal place for school classes, youth groups, clubs and other groups. It is accessible all year round by PostBus on the Gelterkinden–Rheinfelden route and by car. 15 parking spaces are available. The location is also ideal for excursions, with Liestal, Sissach, Basel, Augusta Raurica, Farnsburg and Sissacherfluh all within easy reach. The centre consists of two buildings with separate entrances, which can be booked individually or together: the main building with 80 beds and the youth house with 38 beds. The partially wheelchair-accessible main building offers 33 rooms, a professional catering kitchen, a dining room for 100 people, a large hall for 200 people and three group rooms. A cosy lounge, billiard room and outdoor fire pits provide additional spaces to relax and spend time together. The youth house offers 38 beds, its own kitchen, a dining room and hall for 50 people each, as well as a comfortable lounge. Outside, guests can enjoy a playground, swimming pool, sports field, table tennis and fire pits – ideal for active and varied group stays.
