Hotel Restaurant Taverna

The hotel and restaurant Taverna was reopened in April 2018 after a complete renovation of the over 100 year old house. Tafers is a hub in the beautiful Fribourg region. Only a short drive away are the Fribourg foothills of the Alps, the beautiful Lake Murten and the historic city of Freiburg. Christine Bächler and Jacqueline Fasel want all guests to feel at home. The restaurant should be a meeting place for young and old. A place where everyone feels at home.
The Hotel Taverna is in the center of Tafers, a small Village in the canton of Fribourg. Only 10 minutes car drive away from the beautiful city of Fribourg and the highway, the hotel Taverna is perfectly located to visit the west of Switzerland and the region of Bern. The train can be taken until Fribourg station, where you can change to the bus which goes directly to Tafers. It is only a ten minutes drive from the highway of Düdingen or Fribourg to reach Taverna. Zurich and Geneva airport are both only 1.5 hours car or train ride away.
