‘Le Papillon’ is one of the highest chalets in Bellwald, right on the ski slopes. It is around a 200 meter walk up hill from the car park but the climb is rewarded by spectacular views over the Rhône Valley. Le Papillon is a spacious chalet, known by the Swiss as a “4½ Zimmer Wohnung”. It sleeps seven, in three ground floor bedrooms, one double, one twin and a three berth bunk room. The main entrance is also on the ground floor with a washing machine and ski boot heater. The ground floor accommodation is completed by a recently renovated bathroom comprising a bath with shower over, washbasin and W.C. The upper floor is mainly open plan with a combined living, dining and kitchen area with an open fire, television with swisscom connection, DVD and CD player along with an extensive array of games and jigsaw puzzles. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, blender and mixer. There is also a separate W.C., with washbasin, off the stairwell.
