Our mountain house is an ideal starting point for winter holidays in the middle of the Elsigen-Metsch family ski area. The best ski-in/ski-out, because the slope leads directly past the house and the children's paradise, the practice lifts and the ski school are right next to the Berghaus. A rapid toboggan run (3.5 km) leads down to Elsigbach (car park, valley station of the gondola lift). Beautiful winter hiking or snowshoe routes start right in front of the Berghaus. But ski tourers also get their money's worth.

In summer , there are countless hiking opportunities . The Brandsee is ideal for water games, for strolling and enjoying. In July and August, the lake is even expanded with a large water slide - fun for the whole family. The slightly higher Elsigsee (dries up in summer) is worth a visit in every season and a true natural jewel. It can be reached in a good 35 minutes via idyllic alpine paths. With our barbecue basket, this will be an eventful day at 1,797 m above sea level. From Adelboden and Frutigen there are bike and e-bike excursions to us.

The Berghaus Elsigenalp is a wonderful place for a celebration "on the alp". We offer rooms for smaller groups and those of up to 100 people. Our kitchen team works exclusively with local and regional suppliers. Weddings, workshops, seminars or even celebrations with the team or family - with our 55 beds we offer an exclusive setting for your event.

Journey
In the middle of the Elsigen-Metsch skiing and hiking area and about 300 metres from the mountain station. By public transport in winter, the ski bus takes you directly from Frutigen train station to the cable car valley station. In summer, take the train to Frutigen, then take the AFA bus to Steg/Kirche Achseten and change here to the cable car's own shuttle bus to the valley station of the cable car. By car to Frutigen, then continue in the direction of Adelboden and in Steg/Achsenten turn left immediately after the bridge and drive up the panorama road. Free parking is available at the valley station (incl. e-charging station). Ride with the cable car to Elsigenalp (approx. 8 minutes, 478 metres in altitude, 1,319 – 1,797 m above sea level)
