Ostello Madonna della Fontana

Our group accommodation, the “Ostello Madonna della Fontana”, is a traditional Ticino house situated on the enchanting Monte Verità, in the church building of the Madonna della Fontana, a 20-minute walk from Ascona’s Piazza (1.4 km) and the shores of Lake Maggiore. The hostel offers up to 40 beds in 4 dormitories (1 single room, 1 triple room, 1 16-bed room, 1 20-bed room), a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, an activities room and a large outdoor area for activities, as well as a car park. The Madonna della Fontana Hostel is an ideal venue for hiking weeks, sports clubs, children’s and youth camps, school trips and training courses of all kinds. The entire facility is let as a whole; it is not possible to book individual rooms. Prices for 2027: From 3 nights: Accommodation cost CHF 650.00 per night (including electricity) For 1–2 nights: Accommodation cost CHF 750.00 per night (including electricity) Extra: Visitors’ tax: CHF 3.30 per adult per night – aged 14 and over Important information: • The house does not provide bed linen. Guests must bring their own fitted sheets and sleeping bags. • The group must clean and tidy the entire house themselves upon check-out.
