Description
Looking for group accommodation on Lake Lucerne with panoramic views of the lake and mountains? The Mark & Bein group house with its modern extension is located at the foot of Mount Rigi in Weggis (Lucerne, Switzerland). It is ideal for summer and autumn camps, sports and school camps, confirmation and club camps, music and theatre groups, workshops or team days.
Designed as a youth hostel, the house offers spacious rooms with hot and cold running water. Numerous twin rooms and creative multi-bed rooms create a friendly, personal atmosphere, following the motto: “Every child has their own little hideaway.” The building is clearly laid out with several floors, wide corridors and two sanitary units per floor; the new extension also features modern WC and shower facilities.
In addition to a football pitch, playing field and gravel area, you benefit from excellent indoor infrastructure: a multi-purpose sports hall, two large halls and six group rooms – perfect for indoor activities, group work, team meetings and art or music rehearsals. The new sports hall allows for indoor volleyball, floorball (unihockey) and other ball games – so there is always “good weather.”
A games room, terraces and barbecue areas with billiards, table tennis, table football and rotagolf complete the offer. Bonus: free entry to the Lido/indoor swimming pool in Weggis. An ideal base for excursions to Lucerne, Mount Rigi, the Küssnacht rope park, Goldau Zoo, paddle steamer cruises and the Swiss Path.
