Chalet Maithili is very close to Lauterbrunnen train station and Switzerland's most famous waterfall - Staubbach Falls. Also very close to the entire Jungfrau region - Jungfrau Ski Region - Mürren - Schilthorn The winter paradise of the Jungfrau Ski Region. Lauterbrunnen is a small village in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland, known for its stunning natural beauty and location in a deep valley surrounded by towering cliffs and waterfalls. The village is nestled at the base of the Swiss Alps and is a popular tourist destination for its outdoor activities, such as hiking, climbing, and skiing. One of the main attractions in Lauterbrunnen is the Staubbach Falls, which is the highest waterfall in Switzerland. The falls cascade down a sheer cliff face, reaching a height of nearly 300 meters and is hardly 5 minutes walk from our Chalet.
