The Alpenlodge Valgronda is the perfect holiday hotel for hikers, alpine and cross-country skiers, wellness lovers and all nature-loving connoisseurs! You can expect 22 cosy rooms, suites and family apartments.
The Alpine lodge Val Gronda is located on a high plateau of about 1350 meters above sea level in the hamlet of Tschappina in Obersaxen and belongs to the merged municipality of Obersaxen Mundaun in the Surselva region. In just 5 minutes by car you can reach the village of Meierhof, where there is a supermarket, a bank, a bakery, smaller cafes and restaurants as well as a post office.
The hotel offers a restaurant with à la carte, buffet and half board, the Bistro 1350 for breakfast, the Stadl with typical, regional cuisine and the fireplace bar for an atmospheric end to the day.
The restaurant is also open to external guests from 18:30 to 21:00. Prior reservation is urgently requested.
The wellness area extends over 1000m² and has three different saunas, a brine chamber, infrared benches and foot basin as well as an indoor sports pool and a bubble bath. Furthermore, massages are offered. The sauna area is a nude zone and therefore only accessible from the age of 16.
Dogs pay 25 CHF per day (without food) and are allowed in selective rooms – but not in the restaurant.
