Our hotel with 20 beds is located in the valley at the entrance to the village of Steg on the route to or from Goppenstein (car transport Lötschberg 12 minutes by car). Gampel-Steg is the central starting point for Valais. The river Lonza, whose name gave its name to the chemical plant "LONZA" that was once located here, separates the villages of Steg and Gampel. In the house there is a restaurant, dining room with 70 seats, carnozet and a double bowling alley. Steg is an ideal starting point for ski holidays with Valais ski pass, hikes, excursions, work and leisure activities. The bus stop to Lötschental, Goppenstein, Gampel-Steg train station is right in front of the hotel. Travel time: To the Lötschental 15 minutes, to Jeizinen from Gampel by cable car in 7 minutes, to Brig in 20 minutes, Leukerbad in 30 minutes, bus service from Leuk-Susten, to Zermatt and Saas-Fee in about 60 minutes and to Sierre, Sion and Montana in 20 or 30 minutes.
