Maiensäss Sanestris

Cosily furnished alpine hut on the Heinzenberg.

The alpine hut is located near a small bathing lake (Padrutg Lake). The kitchen, a living/dining room and a small WC are on the ground floor. The simply furnished kitchen is equipped with a wood cooker and gas cooker. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans. There is also a cheese fondue caquelon. The WC is a waterless sweat toilet.

The living and dining areas are cosily heated by a Swedish stove. The dining table seats a maximum of 8 people. A ladder leads to the bedrooms, which consist of 2 double rooms and a triple room (1x double bed, 1x single bed). The alpine hut can be reached by car up to 100 metres and is ideal for nature lovers looking for peace and relaxation, as well as for hikes or bike tours. The Maiensäss is located on the Heinzenberg just above the Oberurmein holiday village with a wonderful view of the Piz Calanda and the Domleschg.

There is a small seating area with table and benches in front of the house. A fountain is available. It is possible to barbecue on the fire bowl or make a cosy campfire.

The Patrutgsee lake (with bathing facilities, barbecue area and playground) is a 10-minute walk away.
