First mentioned as an inn in 1254, Chasa Chalavaina is one of the oldest hotels in Switzerland. In spring 2022, it was taken over by a foundation and carefully renovated to preserve its unique charm.
Each of the 18 individually designed rooms captivates with historical furniture from different eras – from 16th-century treasures to timeless pieces that blend history with elegance. In the historic Swiss stone pine dining room, guests can enjoy refined local cuisine with regional specialties from the Engadin, as well as a warm and welcoming regional breakfast.
