Touristenlager Jura

Our 300-year-old Jura farmhouse in La Chaux d'Abel near La Ferrière (Bernese Jura, Switzerland) is a real gem. The tourist camp is in the former barn, it has 2 compartments, a chamber, a lounge with cooking facilities and two showers with WC. In the summer months it is an ideal camp house for school camps or youth groups. The grounds are large and safe. Our mules, highland cattle, pigs and chickens graze at a safe distance. Excursions to the Franches-Montagnes, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Neuchâtel are possible by train. We offer horse riding and mule trekking with our friendly mules. For your family or company event, we can prepare a BBQ with our own meat or an outdoor fondue from the regional cheese dairy on request. Haus Neuenburg, our group house with 26 beds, is located on the same property. Both houses are suitable for family holidays. The family-friendly, reasonably priced Chasseral ski area can be reached in 20 minutes by car and the cross-country ski trail in 5 minutes. The guest card is included in the accommodation price. It offers free travel on the entire Vagabond network from the canton of Jura to La Chaux-de-Fonds. The overnight prices are special rates for schools and families.
