Gästehaus Ca'Stella

If you are looking for a special place, rich in the five strong elements, then our lovingly renovated old house “Ca’ Stella” in Bignasco in the Maggia Valley (Ticino, Switzerland) is exactly the right spot for you. Couples, families and small groups – young and old alike – feel at home with us. Our historic house is located in the quiet old village centre, just 3 minutes from the bus stop (service every 30 minutes). Free parking is available nearby. Many hiking and cycling trails start right at the doorstep, and swimming in the river or at the waterfall is a real delight. The individually styled rooms offer a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Our “cielo” (dormitory) is also very inviting – a recommended and budget-friendly option including toilet, shower and a small kitchenette. The common room “serenità”, furnished with books, musical instruments, games and much more, is available to all guests. Seminar groups of up to approx. 12 people are also welcome. The entire house is free from disruptive fields, which is why our guests (almost) always sleep “in heavenly peace”. Our house specialty is breakfast, featuring homemade or wood-fired bread, homemade jams, birchermüesli and local cheese.
