Kleinhotel Nühus

Safien-Platz

Description

Willkommen - Bienvenue - Benvenuti - Welcome
Welcome to the Nühus We are located on a sunny plateau called Bruschgaleschg at an altitude of 1636 meters, overlooking Safien Platz (altitude 1300m). It was built in 1803 as a home for two farmer families, surrounded by three stables, a bee house and an outdoor oven. The main building is made out of timber logs a typical style for this region. The first renovation took place in 1963 by a famous Swiss architect (Rudolf Olgiati). He was well known for the uncommonly big windows as well as the large fireplace in the living room. Before the opening as a boutique hotel in summer 2013, the Nühus has been again renovated where some comfort was added. Each of the six bedrooms has a shower and toilet. Our guests can relax in the dining room with its stove made of soapstone or in the big living room with a fireplace and the bold panorama window which allows a beautiful view of the Bruschghorn.
