The rustic chalet "d’alt Schmidtja" on the mountain Alpe Bel (2013 m above sea level) sleeps 4-5 people. It is 5 minutes on foot from the Alpe Bel cable car station. Built in 1881, the chalet offers an authentic, traditional Valais experience combined with modern comforts in the mountains. This small but tastefully furnished chalet underwent a complete renovation in 2009 and offers a real holiday atmosphere. The unspoilt area surrounding the chalet, which functions both as a play area and a point of attraction are ideal as a playing field for children, as a place for playing sports or just as a meeting point. Whatever the occasion, it is always a relaxing place to be. "D’alt Schmidtja" offers a peaceful refuge but can also function as a base camp for interesting excursions and unique holiday experiences in the Belalp Aletsch alpine region.
