Bedrooms:
2 bedrooms on the upper floor: Cozy bedrooms with two single beds each and a unique view. One bed is foldable and can be stored under the other bed. The bedrooms feature a large shelf for clothes and storage. A cot is also available (foldable travel cot). Bedding is provided and included in the price. In the living room on the ground floor, the sofa can be extended into a French bed for two additional people.

Living area:
An open living area with kitchen/dining/living space. In the living room, there's a stove and cooking island in the center, a dining table with 4-6 chairs, a sofa bed, and a rack. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. The photovoltaic system supplies electricity for lighting as well as for charging laptops, mobile phones, or e-bikes. For optimal comfort, there's a fully automatic pellet stove and a battery system with a solar boiler for hot water.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is well-equipped and features a gas stove with oven, a blender, and an espresso machine (coffee not provided), a raclette oven, and a fondue set. Kitchen linens are provided and included in the price. A compost bin for organic waste is available. Water, gas, wood, and electricity must be used carefully. The self-sufficient Maiensäss has its own spring and a contained wastewater tank.

Bathroom:
The bathroom includes a toilet, a washbasin with a mirrored cabinet, and a shower. Guests must bring their own towels. Note: No hairdryer (uses too much electricity).

Outdoors:
A fountain/solar outdoor shower is available for warm summer days, as well as a wooden hot tub (HotPot) for a wellness experience.

The 3.5-room Maiensäss (52 m²) was completely renovated in 2021. This cozy holiday home with an attached shed on the south slope above Rueun stands alone amidst pristine mountain scenery. Pastures, forests, and small streams surround the Tegia Cucagna. Enjoy the wide view with the mountain panorama of the Surselva from the wooden hot tub (HotPot). In spring, summer, and autumn, the Maiensäss is accessible via the alpine road from Rueun or Siat (requires a driving permit) with an off-road vehicle (with parking). In winter, the route from Siat to the hut is accessible by snowshoes, taking approximately 1.5 hours. A paradise for those seeking peace, nature lovers, hikers, mountaineers, cyclists, and in winter, snowshoe hiking, ski touring, winter walks, and with a bit of luck, wildlife spotting.
