Hotel Sonne Fex

The Hotel Sonne Fex, built in 1908, is a typical swiss hotel headed by our family. 14 cosy and individual furnished single- and doublerooms welcome you and spoil you with the most marvelous view into the engadine mountains. In our hotel you can celebrate incomparable nice weddings, baptisms or birthdays, because the wellknown little white chapel of Fex Crasta is right next to us. Now the fourth generation welcomes you here, your hosts Jennifer and Gian-Reto Witschi.
In the incomparable beauty of the Upper Engadine you find the village of Sils-Maria. It is not just a place with great scenic charm and many possibilities for leisure and culture, it is also the starting point for one of the most beautiful, southern valleys of the Engadine, the Fex Valley. Since the year 1954, the Fex is under protection, public transport into the valley is very limited, new buildings are hardly possible and the horse coaches see to the idyll in the valley. Here you find "on sunny meadow terrace, where the little white chapel of Fex Crasta looks far into a landmark of peace and tranquility, the "Gasthof zur Goldenen Sonne" as it was called in one of our first brochure in 1910. When you arrived in Sils-Maria, you park your car at the public car park and call us briefly, then our driver will pick you up immediately.
