Listed as a historic monument, in class II (for comparison, the Château d’Yverdon-les-Bains is class I), the Maison Roguin is a characterful residence built at the end of the 18th century.

Carefully restored in keeping with its history, it now offers all modern comforts, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre of Yverdon-les-Bains, the thermal baths and the shores of Lake Neuchâtel.

It was in this historic residence that Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi opened his school for poor children on 13 September 1818. You will have the privilege of staying in the very room where he lived for two years.
