Surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, the Sonnenberg Health Hotel is located in the elevated Schwellbrunn at 972m above sea level, which was voted the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2017, not without reason. Situated on the former textile route from St. Gallen to Paris, Schwellbrunn developed into a climatic health resort from 1880 onwards. Thanks to its quiet location, it was increasingly appreciated as a place to live in the last quarter of the 20th century. With its pale yellow façade, romantic balconies and the scent of herbs from the café, the Sonnenberg Health Hotel is sure to give you a holiday feeling. Only the sumptuous pizza, you won't find it here. And for good reason. The Sonnenberg Health Hotel is not a hotel that is all about feasting. On the contrary, here body and mind get an energy booster and a healthy new start. What makes this institution special is that it offers hotel, restaurant and treatments all in one. In total, there are 3 doctors' offices, a hotel with 16 rooms and a vegetarian vegan restaurant run by the company tibits. Tibits has made vegetarian and vegan diets socially acceptable in Switzerland and has played a key role in ensuring that enjoyment and plant-based nutrition are not mutually exclusive. This philosophy is now being further developed on the beautiful Sonnenberg in Schwellbrunn by combining health and enjoyment.
