Chesa Marchetta

Chesa Marchetta is a warm and welcoming 13-bedroom hotel and 50-cover restaurant in Sils Maria, the cultural centre of the Engadin.

Each of the 13 bedrooms are furnished with traditional Engadin furniture and artwork by local artists and artisans that reflect the history of the hotel and the surrounding area. From the top floor family suite to the classic, superior and deluxe rooms, each room has its own story to tell.

The restaurant is open daily for dinner and offers a menu that celebrates the marriage of Italian and Swiss cultures. It takes its inspiration from Maria and Christina Godly’s famous and traditional use of seasonal ingredients. A light lunch is available upstairs in the bar and outside in the garden and the cocktail bar is open for drinks every day.

It is located within easy reach of the famous Val Fex valley for walking and Lake Sils for swimming in the summer months and St Moritz and Corvatsch for winter skiing. With Nietzsche’s Haus opposite, cultural walks and many museums and galleries close by there are myriad cultural activities all year round.
