Boutique Hotel Waldhaus beider Basel

Located in two buildings, the Waldhaus offers 20 newly renovated hotel rooms. Officially classified by Hotellerie Suisse as a 3-star boutique hotel, it offers every comfort. Each room is beautifully designed and creates a unique, positive and relaxing atmosphere. Our Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi, free coffee and free mini-bars in their rooms. A small but fine carafe of the hotel's own Rheinbrand schnapps should not be missing. Best enjoyed in the evening at sunset.
The Waldhaus beider Basel is located 15 minutes by public transport from the SBB station, in the middle of the Hardwald forest on the Rhine near Muttenz. At Aeschenplatz take bus no. 80 (direction "Liestal Bahnhof") or bus no. 81 (direction "Liestal Bahnhof") and get off at the bus stop "Muttenz Waldhaus". From the bus stop, follow the road into the forest. At the end of the road you will find the Waldhaus beider Basel. Follow A2/A3 to Muttenz, take exit on Waldeckstrasse in the direction of Birsfelden/Schweizerhalle/Auhafen. The Waldhaus has plenty of parking spaces in front of the house (not protected from the weather). You may park your car with us free of charge.
