Description
Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model offers a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Vacation in architectural monument (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.
Parking: The public car park is about 150m from the house (above the village). The car park is free, not covered. Access to the house is guaranteed. Luggage or shopping can be unloaded in front of the house.
Public transport: The bus stop is 20 metres away.
Number of persons 4: A baby cot (up to 2 years) is available. The house can accommodate four guests (plus baby). From the common staircase (together with the flat upstairs) there is a door to the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom with shower and toilet. A small staircase leads from the kitchen to the rear living area, where a corridor leads to the two double bedrooms. From the rear corridor there is another door that leads to the side street, from where you reach the outside area of the Türali house (adjacent barn with courtyard). The floors are made of stone and wood and we recommend good slippers.
Garden: No garden
WLAN: Is not available. You are welcome to use the WLAN in the Gasthaus am Brunnen. Please ask for the password at the inn.
Open: The house can be rented all year round.
Pets: Pets are allowed on request.
