Chalet Mon Refuge

Our cozy, comfortable 6 1/2-room chalet in the heart of the Grisons Alps for up to 9 people for private use. Very sunny and quiet location at a dead end with 2 parking spaces (free) right by the house. Great view of Laax and the Surselva. A large terrace (south side) and a covered garden seating area (west side) with garden grill offer wonderful views. On the ground floor there is a large cozy living area furnished with pine furniture and a dining area. The open, large, very well-equipped kitchen is located directly next to the dining area. 2 double bedrooms, 1 shower with washbasin and a separate toilet are also on the ground floor. A pull-out staircase (not suitable for small children and people with walking disabilities) leads to the upper floor with 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom with an en-suite shower, a separate toilet with washbasin.

The chalet is suitable for couples and families with children. Non-smoking accommodation. Pets not allowed. Youth groups not welcome.

Equipment:
Living area: seating group with coffee table, extendable dining table, telephone, internet WiFi (free), small TV, radio, electric storage heater.

Sleeping area: ample wardrobes, blackout possible, electric radiators with thermostat.

Kitchen: induction hob, oven, extractor hood, dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, Nespresso, filter and Mocca coffee machines, toaster, kettle, raclette oven, fondue set, large selection of dishes, glasses and cutlery, no microwave.

Wet cells: shower and washbasin on the ground floor. Upper floor: shower, separate toilet with washbasin.

Storage room: washing machine and tumble dryer, terrace furniture and sun loungers for the outdoor area.

Miscellaneous: 1 cot and 1 camping cot are available free of charge, but must be set up and dismantled by yourself. 1 high chair (IKEA) is provided.

Shopping facilities, food, restaurant, children's playground, lake 500m, bus stop 200m, golf course (18 holes) 5km, Weisse Arena, cable car, ski lift, ski school 2.5km.

Our chalet "mon refuge" (my place of refuge) has been in family ownership for over 65 years. Reliability and cleanliness are very important to us. We love this place, are often on site ourselves and hope that our guests will appreciate and take care of the house. Thank you.

The chalet "mon Refuge" is located above the village of Laax towards Falera, in a quiet location with a beautiful mountain view. Shopping facilities (food, butcher, bakery) can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, as can the children's playground and the Laax lake. The nearest bus stop is only about 200 m from the house. Use of the shuttle bus is free with a guest card.

The Flims Laax Falera region impresses with its unique mountain landscape, characterized by breathtaking natural phenomena. Just 90 minutes by car from Zurich, the region offers a variety of sporting activities as well as a diverse cultural offering.

Winter in LAAX – A paradise for skiers and snowboarders. Enjoy 28 modern ski lifts and 214 kilometers of ski runs in the LAAX ski area. Thanks to its altitude, it is one of the snow-sure areas in Switzerland. Away from the slopes, a wide network of winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails awaits you.

In summer, the varied landscape invites you to hike, bike and play golf. Enjoy spectacular views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sardona Tectonic Arena and the Rhine Gorge. Refresh yourself in the Cauma or Cresta lakes, two of Switzerland's most beautiful mountain lakes. Stroll relaxed along the Senda dil Dragun treetop path and learn more about the history of the region. For adventure seekers, the Pinut via ferrata in Flims, the oldest of its kind in Switzerland, is a great option.
