Berggasthaus Michelhof

St. Antönien

Description

Small and dreamy mountain house with lots of alpine charm away from mass tourism in a warm atmosphere.

Above St. Antönien, a historic Walser settlement in the Prättigau, Graubünden, the Michelhof has stood for 300 years at 1,500 m above sea level in a dreamy, sunny, and quiet location. The Michelhof combines simplicity, luxury, coziness, and personal hospitality.

The Michelhof operates as a guesthouse. The house is an ideal starting point for ski and snowshoe tours as well as hikes, biking, climbing, skiing, and for gourmets. After an eventful day, treat yourself to an aperitif on the wonderful terrace. In the evening, let the kitchen pamper you with a fantastic dinner in the Arvenstube with a tiled stove.

Dominik Karrer introduces guests to the most beautiful spots of St. Antönien on hiking and snowshoe tours. It is possible to book Trottinettes for thrilling descents.

Recharge with us. Enjoy the peace and nature.

After the house was known for over 70 years as a storage building "Hof", it reopened in 2003 as the Michelhof mountain guesthouse. Over the years, the beautiful old house was gently renovated with great attention to preserving its mountain charm. In 2013, the former stables were expanded. The combination of new and old is perfectly achieved.
