Description
Information from your host
The hamlet of Lüsai (1,740 m above sea level) is situated halfway up the slope between Fuldera and Lü on a small south-west-facing sun terrace. The poet Jon Guidon (1892–1966) captured the summer evening atmosphere in the words: "Aint ils ultims, limpids razs d'sulai glüschan champs e chasas da Lüsai...." ("In the last clear sunrays, the fields and houses of Lüsai shimmer....").
Lüsai has a post bus stop. The place is quiet and child-friendly; there is no through traffic in the hamlet itself.
The holiday apartment is a roof-top flat with two bedrooms, each with two beds, and a daybed. The main living area is a large, cosy kitchen-cum-living room with a small wood-burning stove that quickly creates a warm atmosphere on cool evenings.
In summer, the terrace is bathed in sunlight until late in the evening and is available for tenants to use. There is a charcoal grill. From the house, there is an unobstructed view over the Münstertal valley. Children soon feel at home: there is plenty to discover around the house and on the small neighbouring farm (run by the Perl family). The edge of the forest is just a few steps away. Squirrels, birds and deer live here, and small streams invite play.
