Elmerlodge

The Elmerlodge with 6 flats (4 with 4 beds each and 2 with 5 beds each) and a group wing (max. 20 people), is located above Elm (Canton Glarus) in Eastern Switzerland on the Empächli Alp and is only 2 minutes away from the mountain station of the Elm Empächli gondola lift. The lodge with its unique panorama overlooking the Martinsloch is located in a car-free area and can only be reached by gondola lift. The Elmerlodge can be booked exclusively by a group of families and friends as well as companies for their seminar guests. Smaller groups book individual apartments or the group wing. In summer: Starting point for hikes of all levels of difficulty in Europe's oldest game reserve. Around 60 km of marked hiking and mountain trails for excursions and trips. Varied alpine flora, observation of wild animals, alpine cheese dairy, forest nature trail and scooter fun. In winter: In the middle of the Elm-Schabell snow sports area with 7 lifts and 40 kilometres of ski slopes of every level of difficulty, 5 kilometres of which have machine snowmaking. 4 kilometres of toboggan run to Elm, starting point for various ski tours, 8 kilometres of prepared cross-country ski trail in the valley.
