Description
The Chalet Viola is located in the monastery village of Disentis (Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland). It is built in chalet style and stands away from the road in an absolutely quiet location with direct access to the forest, 15 minutes' walk from the village centre. Free local bus, car access right up to the house. Next to the ski slope when there is enough snow.
The house can be rented either as a whole or as three separate apartments with a communal room for 23 people.
Cable TV in all three apartments, fireplace in the communal room, 2 dishwashers, oven are available.
Beds for 2 wheelchair users. However, limited wheelchair accessibility (level access, but partly narrow doors, no special bathrooms).
Attractions in the village and the region:
Benedictine monastery with museum. Largest solar power plant in the Alps. Largest tunnel construction site in the world.
Summer and winter sports resort with a very well-developed infrastructure, sports centre, signposted bike trails, gold panning in the young Rhine, 3000-metre winter sports area.
The house is located on Cycle Route No. 2.
From autumn 2020, we will offer a hot tub at an extra charge on a "first come, first served" basis.
