Hotel Höfli

Altdorf

Description

As a hotel with a personal atmosphere we are looking forward to welcoming you as our guests. Our establishment is one of the most traditional in Altdorf. The wooden building is one of the few, which escaped a large fire in the village in 1799. We enjoy a quiet yet central location in the heart of Altdorf the capital of the canton Uri and only a few minutes¿ walk from the William Tell monument. In our restaurant Höfli-Stübli pizzeria or on our garden terrace we serve market fresh specialties of a classic Italian character. In 1997 we extended our hotel with an annex building, which houses our ¿modern¿ rooms. In the main building we offer our rustic rooms all of which have been renovated in 2006. We are ideally located for pass tours by motorbike and are surrounded by lakes and mountains. Playground, fitness center, indoor swimming pool, shops and museums are all close by.
We are centrally located close to the William Tell monument. For guests arriving by car we offer plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the hotel. From the motorway taking exit ¿Flüelen or Erstfeld¿ you can reach our hotel within 8 minutes. Connections with public transport are as follows: you can take the train to Flüelen or Altdorf. Change to the local bus until stop ¿Telldenkmal¿. From there it is a leisurely 5-minute walk through the pedestrian zone directly to our hotel.
