Description
The newly renovated Stafel alpine hut is located at 1890 meters above sea level in the hamlet of Fiescherstafel, between Fiesch and Fiescheralp. In winter, you can ski directly from the hut onto the slopes and take the "Heimatt" chairlift into the Aletsch Arena ski area. In summer, the hut is an ideal starting point for hikes through the Valais mountains. It is easily accessible year-round—on foot from the mountain station or by skiing directly to the hut. In winter, a paid luggage transport service by snow groomer is available after 4:30 p.m.
