Description
The Salvation Army Waldegg Holiday Centre is located above Rickenbach (BL), at 554 m and around 1 km from the village centre. Surrounded by meadows and forests, it offers a peaceful natural setting with beautiful views. The centre is accessible all year round by PostBus 100 (Gelterkinden–Rheinfelden) and by car. 15 parking spaces are available.
Popular nearby excursions include Basel, Liestal, Sissach, Augusta Raurica, Basel Zoo, Rheinfelden thermal baths and Aquabasilea in Pratteln.
The centre consists of two buildings with separate entrances, which can be booked together or individually: the main building with 80 beds and the youth house with 38 beds.
The partially wheelchair-accessible main building offers 33 rooms with washbasins, a dining room for 100 people, a large hall for 200 people, three group rooms and a professional catering kitchen. Further facilities include a cosy lounge, billiard room, Wi-Fi, indoor table tennis and table football.
The shared outdoor area features a playground, swimming pool, sports field, table tennis, fire pits with barbecue facilities and a wooden hut.
