Alpenlodge Val Gronda, Obersaxen-Tschappina

The Alpenlodge Valgronda is the perfect holiday hotel for hikers, alpine and cross-country skiers, wellness enthusiasts and all nature-loving gourmets! You can look forward to 22 cosy rooms, suites and family apartments.

The Alpenlodge Val Gronda is situated on a high plateau at around 1,350 metres above sea level in the hamlet of Tschappina in Obersaxen and belongs to the merged municipality of Obersaxen Mundaun in the Surselva region. In just a 5-minute drive, you will reach Meierhof village, where you will find a supermarket, a bank, a bakery, small cafés and restaurants as well as a post office.

The hotel offers a restaurant with à la carte, buffet and half-board, the Bistro 1350 for breakfast, the Stadl with typical regional cuisine and the Kaminbar for a cosy end to the day.

The restaurant is also open to external guests from 18:30 to 21:00. Advance reservation is strongly recommended.

The wellness area extends over 1,000 m² and features three different saunas, a brine chamber, infrared benches and foot baths as well as an indoor sports pool and a whirlpool. Massages are also available. The sauna area is a nudist zone and is therefore only accessible to guests aged 16 and over.

Dogs pay 25 CHF per day (without food) and are allowed in selected rooms – but not in the restaurant.
