The Alpenlodge Val Gronda is located on a high plateau of approximately 1350 meters above sea level in the hamlet of Tschappina in Obersaxen and belongs to the merged municipality of Obersaxen Mundaun in the Surselva region. In just 5 minutes by car, you can reach the village of Meierhof, where you will find a supermarket, a bank, a baker, smaller cafés and restaurants as well as a post office.
The hotel offers a restaurant with à la carte, buffet and half-board, the Bistro 1350 for breakfast, the Stadl with typical regional cuisine and the Kaminbar for a cosy end to the day.
The restaurant is also open to external guests from 18:30 to 21:00. Prior reservation is strongly recommended.
The wellness area extends over 1000m² and features three different saunas, a brine chamber, infrared benches and foot basins as well as an indoor sports pool and a bubbling bath. In addition, massages are offered. The sauna area is a nude zone and is therefore only accessible from the age of 16.
Dogs cost 25 CHF per day (without food) and are allowed in selected rooms – but not in the restaurant.
