Berghaus Erika

The Berghaus Erika is located at 1,650 metres above sea level in Schlappin, the small Walser village on the lake, 4 km above Klosters village. In summer we can be reached by road from the Madrisa car park, on foot in about 1 ¼ hours, from the Madrisa mountain station on the most direct route in about 1 ½ hours and by car in about 10 minutes. The road is subject to authorisation and the driving permit can be purchased from us retroactively. Our cosy restaurant seats around 45 people inside and has a garden with a view of Lake Schlappin. For overnight accommodation we offer our guests an attic suite with approx. 50m2 and its own entrance for 2 to 4 people, the Seeli double room with shower and toilet in the room, as well as 5 other simple double rooms with showers and toilets on the floor. We are a great starting point for hikes and multi-day tours, the Schlappin is also a popular stage destination on the Via Valtellina and the Walserweg and for bikers on the Heckmair route. The lake in front of the house invites you to fish, splash around and enjoy. The summer road becomes a ski slope in winter, i.e. arrival via the Madrisa cable car (last possible ascent at 3.30 pm) on skis. We will inform you about parking and luggage transport when you make your reservation. What could be nicer for winter sports enthusiasts, after a delicious breakfast in the warm parlour, to be the first on the skis and on the gondola?
