The Naturfreundehaus St. Jakob ("Jaköbli"), located in beautiful Isenthal (Canton of Uri, Switzerland), is 5 km from the shores of Lake Lucerne, 15 km from Altdorf and 40 km from the legendary Rütli. The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities (swimming/wind surfing on the Lake of Uri, climbing in the rock faces by the lake, mountain bike tours directly from the house, hiking and mountain tours, etc.), making the group accommodation St. Jakob an ideal base for club or family excursions, retreats and team building. Or you simply come to this idyllic place to enjoy the peace and quiet in this fairytale world far away from the traffic. Our "Jaköbli" offers space for 26 guests, spread over 6 rooms. This Naturfreundehaus St. Jakob is designed as a self-catering house for groups. Everything you need in terms of services, you will have to provide for yourself. For sleeping please bring your own sleeping bags (obligatory). Woolen blankets are provided, and fixed sheets are optional. In the well-equipped kitchen you prepare your multi-course dinner or a simple meal. And after a strenuous hike or bike tour, treat yourself to a shower. At the end of your stay, you return the group accommodation swept clean and you will take your rubbish back with you. We rent the house all year round on request. In winter only by the week or long weekends from Friday to Sunday. Minimum rental periods of 3 nights apply at Easter, Christmas, New Year's Eve, 2 nights at Whitsun.
