Liliane's Walserhaus

The house on the ground floor has a living room and a small sitting room.
A kitchen with a large table, two benches, and two chairs.
To the left and right of the kitchen area are the WC or the shower.
Both can be closed with a sliding door.

On the upper floor there are 4 bedrooms:
1x double bed
2x two single beds
1x 140x200cm bed

In the hallway between the rooms there is a washbasin with a mirror and two exits to the verandas. One large veranda with clotheslines, the other with a WC. However, this WC cannot be used in winter (due to frozen water pipes).

There are books and board games, card games and puzzles. For children, there are toys, books, and things to paint.


Important to know:
- There is no dishwasher
- The refrigerator is medium-sized, with a small freezer compartment
- The internet reception is not very good (a portable wifi device is available)

The house and its surroundings may remind you of Heidi and Peter the goatherd. It is even older, dating back to 1850.
As a result, heating is partly provided by a wood stove (there is also an oil heater with a thermostat that runs automatically).
On the upper floor, there is no central heating, but a portable heater for the two cooler rooms.

Inner-Praden is an old Walser village. There is no shop or restaurant (anymore). However, there is a church and a small playground next to the kindergarten.
The house is a beautiful, listed Walser house. It is located at 1200 meters above sea level, quietly and on clear nights you can see plenty of stars. A gem for all those seeking deceleration and appreciating old traditions.

Climate change is also noticeable in the Tschiertschen ski area (10 minutes from Praden). The deep-snow winters and cooler summer evenings have adapted accordingly. There are many ski areas nearby with more snow, and in summer various cozy or more active bathing spots.

Briefly about the surroundings:
Chur can be reached in about 15 minutes by post bus or car.
Flims, Laax, Lenzerheide, Arosa, and Davos are between 1/2-1.5 hours away.
In Tschiertschen there is a village shop, a bazaar, and various farm shops. Also a post office, a sports shop, hairdressers, restaurants, hotels with spa, ice rink, art exhibitions at Aux Losanges, and much more.
