Description
At the Greuterhof, inspiring ideas are born in inspiring seminar rooms - in the spirit of Bernhard Greuter, an industrial pioneer who built one of Switzerland's first dyeing factories here. The manure from the neighbouring barn - once the largest in the country - was used for dyeing. Today, guests dance in the renovated banqueting hall, spend the night in stylish themed rooms and dine in the "Schmitte" restaurant - with a daily changing menu at lunchtime and à la carte in the evening. The fireplace is a wonderful place to relax. The Greuterhof is not only a place for further education, but also offers young people with special requirements training places for a recognised vocational qualification. Bernhard Greuter already showed social commitment and was one of the first employers in Switzerland to introduce a social insurance scheme for his employees.
