The penthouse apartment in Chalet Val Roc is located in a quiet area on the car-free Riederalp, in the midst of the Aletsch Arena, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Access to the apartment is via a footpath, and direct transport to the accommodation is not possible. The chalet is accessible in winter by ski (Ski-in/Ski-out). The mountain station Riederalp Mitte and shopping facilities are about a 20-minute walk away. The region offers a variety of recreational activities year-round - from skiing and cross-country skiing in winter to hiking and golfing in summer.
