Schloss Locarno

The only hotel in the old quarter that has a pool and is located 10 minutes from the Lake Maggiore and the train station. The house is composed of parts of the castle Visconti-Museum. This was noticed by Leonardo Da Vinci in July 1507 when building the famous Rivellino. The 32 no smoker rooms are comfortably furnished. They are all equipped with necessary common facilities and the hotel has a Swiss Quality mark level 1/Q1 too. The lovely big garden with a lot of camellia plants is accessible for guests only, and the tower of Palazzo offer exceptional quietness and a private ambiance. The hotel also features a lift. There is a big secure car park on site. Parking costs CHF 12 for a car and CHF 5 for a motorcycle.
