Welcome to Ferienhaus Cuncalada!

Your host is Gustav Loretan. I will hand over the keys, explain everything important about the house and be available to answer any questions during your stay. Please contact me at least three days before your arrival to arrange the key handover.

LOCATION

The house is located 50 meters from a bus stop with hourly connections to the national border and to Scuol, making it suitable for holidays without a car. Our village has a PRIMO shop where you can find almost everything (open Monday to Saturday, closed Monday and Saturday afternoons).

RENTAL

The rent varies depending on the season.

Included are the use of the apartment and garden, linen for bed, bath, and kitchen. In addition to the apartment rent, you will pay a tourism tax. With this card, you are entitled to free use of public transport throughout the Lower Engadine, as well as limited rides on mountain railways. The final cleaning costs CHF 150, assuming normal wear and tear. If more extensive cleaning is required, this will be charged separately. These costs also cover laundry, electricity, and heating.

If you need anything additional, please don’t hesitate to ask me: bath and beach towels, raclette and fondue sets, sledges, bicycles, high chairs, etc. There are also books, games, and other indoor activities available. I’d be happy to give you ideas for excursions as well.

Internet is available. The Wi-Fi password can be found in the information sheet on site. Mobile reception in the house is good. Smoking is prohibited throughout the house, but permitted in the garden. For safety reasons, candles are not allowed. Pets are allowed upon request.

Apartment 2 Upper Floor

A bright 3 ½-room apartment is available for you.

No need to air the rooms; the main room has a comfort ventilation system that runs continuously. If you still want to air the room, do so intensively and cross-ventilate, and remember to close all windows again.

The house is secured with a central locking system. Your badge allows you access to the house and your apartment. You will be given as many badges as you need for yourself and your companions, to be signed for.

 APARTMENT: The wooden furniture made from old barn wood contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. Please take care of it by not placing glasses or cups on it; use the dining or club table instead. Thank you.

KITCHEN: Here you will find a new combination with an oven, dishwasher, and all the necessary equipment and dishes. A moka pot (screw coffee) is provided. You will need ground coffee for it.

You must bring your own groceries. A small selection of spices, oil, and vinegar is available. Please note that the pans are PFAS-free but are not suitable for frying at very high temperatures (max. level 7). You can still fry meat without any problems.

You can dispose of compost at the back entrance in the green bin or directly on the compost pile under the pear tree.

Household waste goes in the yellow municipal bags; one is provided at the start of your rental.

BATHROOM: After showering/bathing, it is recommended to leave the door open for a while.

GARDEN: The garden is at your disposal with a barbecue area, table and chairs, and deck chairs.
