High above everyday life, 1800 metres above sea level, there is a haven situated directly in the skiing and hiking area of Arosa that is the perfect place for relaxation and conscious enjoyment. The 128 rooms and suites of the five-star establishment offer a cosy residential experience with a unique view of the Arosa mountains. The interior design, as colourful as it is surprising, was created by renowned interior designer Carlo Rampazzi.
The 5000 m2 Tschuggen Bergoase spa, designed by star architect Mario Botta, was built entirely into the mountain and offers four floors of outstanding wellness. With its futuristic sail windows, it forms an unmistakable visual landmark and offers 12 treatment rooms, private spa suites, various pools, saunas and steam baths, a fitness room and hairdressing salon as well as a medical wellness centre amid inspiring mountain scenery.
Everyone is a VIP on the Tschuggen Express, a private gondola which takes guests directly to the Arosa Lenzerheide hiking and winter sports area (ski in/ski out) in less than four minutes. The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is the only hotel in Switzerland with its own mountain railway which features two modern panorama cabins for six people. The Arosa Lenzerheide offers a wide range of sporting activities (mountain biking, hiking, tennis, golf, skiing) and the hotel’s own sports shop has the appropriate equipment available for either sale or rent.
