Paragliding trial course in Nidwalden, near Lucerne (1 to 3 days)

Fly into the wonderful world of paragliding with this introductory paragliding course in the canton of Nidwalden, directly at Lake Lucerne.

The region is one of the best flight spots in Switzerland, gaining perfect thermal winds from the lake with the Swiss Alps in the back. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, you have the chance to enjoy nature while learning the basics of paragliding.

Depending on your choice, you will be able to have a 1-day or 3-day introductory course. Your instructor will be with you to share his knowledge and know-how about paragliding. He will explain to you all you need to know - starting, gliding, steering, and landing. 

On the first day, you will practice on a smaller slope how to take off and land, and then you already complete a few flights at a safe altitude on a hill with up to 60 m altitude difference. Experience your first take off!

For the 3-day course, the second day will still be on a practice slope, where you will complete some more flights.

On the third day, you start solo high-altitude flights, where a flight instructor takes care of you during take-off and landing and is in constant contact with you through radio during your time in the air.

Everyone can participate. You do not need any prior knowledge! All courses can be taught in three languages (English, German, and French).
