Straight into your heart! The route through the Alpine foothills, between Lake Geneva and Lake Constance, encompasses 12,000 metres of elevation. This might seem mad at first glance, but, on closer inspection, this choice of route makes perfect sense … you’ll encounter some of Switzerland’s most beautiful old towns, splendid farmhouses and sparkling lakes along the way, the snow-capped Alpine peaks in the background all the while providing the perfect panorama. The Herzroute (route 99) is one of Swiss Cycling Country’s classic routes and this heart-warming tour is well worth experiencing, especially on a powerful e-bike.
